Itad at 15th annual Development and Climate days

Itad’s Vicky Sword-Daniels and Robbie Gregorowski will be at the 15th annual Development and Climate days event at COP23 held alongside the UN climate talks in Bonn, Germany. More than 300 policymakers, researchers and development practitioners are expected to attend the two-day event, which has the theme ‘Global ambition. Local action. Climate resilience for all’.

As part of a panel session ‘Old wine in new bottles: Is resilience and risk management just good development ‘with tweaks’?’, they will debate the concept of climate resilience and facilitate a discussion on what, if anything, is different about resilience strengthening as opposed to ‘business as usual’ development programming. They will be talking about their experiences of the principles and processes of resilience building and how these translate into implementation.

If you’re interested in joining the debate, Vicky and Robbie will be on at 2pm on Saturday 11th November. Find out more here.
