Itad has been awarded the contract to conduct the final evaluation of the high profile Accountability in Tanzania (AcT) programme, funded by DFID and managed by KPMG. The evaluation, which will run from June to December 2014, will be looking in detail at the impact that the programme has had, particularly the effect of the innovative approaches that have been piloted in the programme, such as Outcome Mapping (OM). AcT has garnered a very strong reputation as a programme which has been innovative and creative in how it has managed its funds and worked with its grantee partners, and we are excited to be able to work with the AcT management team to deliver an evaluation that does justice to the programme’s work and aspirations. The team will be conducting field work in Tanzania in November, with the final report due by the end of the year.
