SPARC Resource Centre
The State Partnership for Accountability, Responsiveness and Capability (SPARC) Resource Centre
Itad is a member of the consortium of companies implementing the State Partnership for Accountability, Responsiveness and Capability (SPARC) programme in Nigeria. Set up in 2008, SPARC is a DFID governance programme designed to work with Nigerian state governments to help them improve the way resources are used to achieve the Millennium Development Goals.
After five years of implementation, SPARC has amassed a wide range of knowledge and resources on governance and governance reform, including in the area of Monitoring and Evaluation which Itad has specific responsibility for within the programme.
SPARC developed and launched a Resource Centre in early 2013 which brings together a selection of these resources. Most have been produced by SPARC, its partners or other organizations involved in governance. A few are generic tools and there are also videos, photos and a list of useful websites. These resources have subsequently been integrated within Eldis; the online information service coordinated by IDS which provides access to the best in development policy, practice and research.
