Itad conducted the final evaluation of the high profile Accountability in Tanzania (AcT) programme, funded by DFID and managed by KPMG.
The evaluation
The evaluation, which ran from June to December 2014, looked in detail at the impact that the programme, particularly the effect of the innovative approaches piloted in the programme, such as Outcome Mapping (OM). AcT has garnered a very strong reputation as a programme that has been innovative and creative in how it has managed its funds and worked with its grantee partners, and we were excited to be able to work with the AcT management team to deliver an evaluation that does justice to the programme’s work and aspirations.
