The evaluation aspects were based on the initial uptake of research outputs by dissemination agencies or directly by farmers. The assignment included capacity development of staff working in the National Agricultural Research Council and advice on computerisation of research records.

Monitoring and Evaluation system for Hill Agriculture Research Project
Itad, contracted by DFID, designed a monitoring and evaluation system for the research programme. The monitoring elements of the system were based on the application, review and implementation procedures.
