23/05/2009

The International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding was launched in 2008 as a forum for political dialogue to bring together conflict-affected and fragile countries, international partners and civil society to catalyse successful transitions from conflict and fragility.

The International Dialogue examines good practice and key bottlenecks in international support for peacebuilding and state building and generates consensus around priorities and objectives in these areas.

Our role

We provided expert advice and guidance to define a framework for international peacebuilding and state building objectives and priorities. We also prepared issues papers and consultation reports on peacebuilding and state building in Central African Republic, Sierra Leone and Timor Leste.
