Andrew McConnochie is Itad’s Head of Business Development and joined in November 2016. Andrew leads Itad’s Business Development Unit and provides companywide leadership on income generation, including bidding & tendering, client account development and marketing with global clients.
Andrew has 25 years’ leadership, implementation and board level experience within social protection, governance and health across government and civil society organisations in the UK. Prior to joining Itad, Andrew was Director of Business Development with a large UK-based civil society organisation where he led a team of 60 with responsibility for business development, B2B and B2C marketing, product development, recruitment and bidding for large £10m+ government contracts.
In a consultancy capacity, Andrew has worked on the reform of the juvenile criminal justice system including as lead author for Youth Justice National Standards and has provided business development consultancy to private sector and civil society organisations.
Andrew is a qualified and registered Social Worker, has a Masters in Criminology & Criminal Justice (research focus on Restorative Justice) and a MBA (research focus on Knowledge Management).
