Angela joined Itad in April 2014 as Business Development Manager. Her main task is to oversee business development activities in Itad and line manage the BD team. She is responsible for developing and improving bidding strategies, providing quality assurance in the lead identification and follow up, and ensuring that quality standards and processes are used throughout the bidding process. She is also tasked with building new and existing relationships with partners and associates.
Before joining Itad, Angela was Director of Business Development in an international consulting firm in Spain focussed on financial and private sector development where she worked with all the major international donors including the World Bank Group, EIB, EBRD, IADB, ADB, AFDB and EC. Prior to this, she was Director of Scientific Affairs at a boutique nutritional consulting firm, and worked as a technical translator. Prior to this she was an SERC research fellow at the Research Laboratory for Archaeology and the History of Art at Oxford University.
Angela has an M.A. and D.Phil from the School of Geography and the Environment, Oxford University. She speaks fluent English and Spanish and has a good working knowledge of French.
