Itad joined development practitioners, funders, researchers and private sector actors at the 2017 SEEP Network Annual Conference in Washington DC. Under the 2017 theme, ‘Catalyzing Transformative Change’, we contributed to sector understanding of approaches that bring about large scale positive change in markets and financial systems.
We took part in two peer learning sessions, sharing insights with our partners on the MasterCard Foundation Savings Learning Lab.
Under the conference’s ‘Financial Inclusion and Client Empowerment’ track, the Lab’s team leader, Diana Dezso, was part of a team sharing three unique strategies to empower clients in savings programming, and exploring potential barriers to their success and how to resolve them. She will be joined by colleagues from UNCDF, CARE and CRS.
Under the ‘Adaptive Management and Organizational Change’ track, Itad consultant James Robinson was part of a session moving beyond buzz-words and highlighting systems and tools for flexible monitoring and evaluation based on lessons learnt across the Learning Lab. He was joined by colleagues from WSBI and OPM.
