The Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) is a five-year initiative funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) which started in 2010, to help developing countries respond to the challenges posed by climate change.
It does this by providing research and technical assistance and channelling the best available knowledge on climate change and development to support policy processes at the country level.
Our role
We were contracted in 2011, and again in 2012, by the CDKN to assist them with M&E and impact assessment across a range of knowledge services, products and activities. We run an annual expert panel exercise to assess the quality of CDKN knowledge products and an annual user panel exercise engaging approximately fifty of CDKN primary audience group developing country policy makers to assess the usefulness of CDKN knowledge products.
