Santosh Aryal is the Data Analyst for our USAID Learning for Development programme.
He brings over five years of experience within developmental projects, particularly in the health sector. With a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, Santosh has a solid foundation in public health, further enriched by his hands-on experience in health-related development projects. His continuous learning ability is evident through his participation in programs like the International Program for Development Evaluation Training (IPDET), where he hones his skills and stays updated with the latest practices in monitoring and evaluation.
Santosh’s extensive experience spans collaborations with various donors, including USAID, UKAID, SDC, and EU. His proficiency in designing tailored data collection methods and providing technical support has been instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of project data across different initiatives.
Beyond his technical abilities, Santosh takes an active role in evaluation associations like the Asia Pacific Evaluation Association (APEA) and Nepal Evaluation Society (NES). Notably, as a co-leader of EvalYouth Nepal, he plays a pivotal role in sharing knowledge and fostering connections among young evaluators.
In project management, Santosh’s practical expertise serves as a cornerstone for informed decision-making. His ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights contributes significantly to project success. In his free time, Santosh loves to backpack, go hiking, and enjoy the serenity of nature.
