Our role
Itad, contracted by the European Commission (EC) was a consortium leader to provide training and helpdesk services to the EC and partner government staff in Project Cycle Management, Sector Programmes and Budgetary Aid. A team of full-time helpdesk consultants was based in Brussels, while a range of trainers and backstopping consultants were available to support this large-scale capacity-building programme.
The aim of the project
The Project Cycle Management, Sector Programmes & Budgetary Aid aim was to provide methodological support and helpdesk services; develop training and guidance materials for sector-wide approaches and budgetary aid; organise a helpdesk to provide a range of demand-led services to Commission staff, as well as providing information on the preparation and results of training. Itad were also involved with training design and delivery; conducting a training needs assessment to determine the quality and quantity of training required in the areas of Project Cycle Management, sector-wide approaches and budgetary aid; design, prepare, organise and deliver training in the same areas, building on the existing Project Cycle Management modules and including new modules for sector-wide approaches and budgetary aid.
