Jo Robinson has spent almost a decade working on conflict, peace and security in East and West Africa and in the Pacific. She has designed and led theory-based and realist evaluations for a variety of clients including most recently, an independent strategic review of DFAT’s Bougainville Partnership, a multi-sector peace and security programme operating across the Autonomous Region of Bougainville in Papua New Guinea.
Her skills and experience lie in evaluating peacebuilding and conflict prevention programmes, researching and piloting innovative participatory M&E approaches and developing conflict sensitive MEL systems. She has professional training in impact evaluation, process tracing and contribution analysis, development project management and working in hostile environments.
Jo is currently the Deputy Project Director of the M&E Unit for the UK’s Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) in Eastern Africa, jointly responsible for leading the development and delivery of MEL support to CSSF teams across the region.
