Covid-19
The Covid-19 pandemic has had profound effects on lives around the world and will continue to do so for months, years and maybe even decades to come. How does international development and humanitarian programming respond to a complex, changing and challenging situation?
We believe that the global response to the pandemic should be guided by evidence. This includes ensuring that policy and programmes have an impact and deliver results, that they learn and adapt in real-time, and are sustainable in the long term.
From learning from past crises to how we design and deliver our work in this fast-changing context, this page gathers together the work we’re doing to support our partners to manage and adapt their programmes and portfolios. We also set out our thinking on the challenges posed by the pandemic, as well as how we’ve been supporting partners to continue to have an impact in the light of Covid-19.
