Itad’s Sam McPherson will be at ‘The Power of 10: Shaping the Future of Climate Action’ in Ouarzazate, Morocco, on 28th and 29th January. Sam will be with other members of the evaluation team, including Matthew Savage, the technical lead.
Organised by the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) as part of their celebration of 10 years of climate action, the event will explore the challenges faced in taking effective climate action, the lessons the CIF has learnt from its programming and look to the future.
Itad conducted an independent evaluation of the transformational change commissioned by CIF, and our Transformational Change Report will be launched at 11.15am on 28th January. Our evaluation, part of CIF’s Evaluation and Learning (E&L) Initiative, was primarily a learning exercise to understand how, and to what extent, CIF has been able to contribute to transformational change.

Our evaluation explored CIF’s contribution to transformational change toward low-carbon, climate-resilient development in the areas of mitigation, resilience, and forests across four programmes: The Clean Technology Fund, the Pilot Program for Climate Resilience, the Forest Investment Program, and the Scaling Up Renewable Energy in Low-Income Countries Program.
