Itad, as part of a consortium led by Hera, was contracted by IHP+ to deliver the 2014 round of monitoring on effective development cooperation.
24 countries and 37 development partners participated, and for the first time, monitoring and reporting was led by Ministries of Health and coordinated nationally – with the aim of strengthening the accountability for commitments by partners at country level.
Following discussion at the IHP+ Country Health Teams Meeting in Cambodia in December, the report (see here) has now been published and details findings against some of the “seven behaviours” by which development partners have agreed to operationalise their commitments to improve the effectiveness of investments in the health sector, and thereby contribute to improved health outcomes.
