Itad is developing a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Framework to begin measuring the British Council’s Culture and Development Strategy – looking at how and in what ways culture can contribute to development outcomes like behaviour change, inclusive institutions, and wellbeing. The British Council believes that culture contributes to the building of peaceful, stable, sustainable and equitable societies and communities. The Arts and Education and Society Strategic Business Units are currently working together to develop a Culture & Development Strategy, which will bring together British Council work around the world that uses creative and cultural means to achieve development goals.
