The MEL component of RAP generates knowledge and facilitates learning for the programme and its partners. It does this by providing in-depth analysis on the progress and outcomes of RAP and the contribution that it makes to development.
MEL is an independent component of RAP. Strong emphasis is placed on partnership – with RAP’s implementing agencies and other organisations in Nepal that are involved in associated research or have an interest in using the knowledge that it generates.
MEL’s activities are focused in eight RAP core districts in mid and far west Nepal
This report outlines the results of a survey conducted in April and May 2015 of households where at least one member was a participant in a RAP funded Road Maintenance Group (RMG) in the mid and far western regions of Nepal.
