This is the final round of verification undertaken by the independent MEL unit for RAP3. It provides a technical assessment of roads built by the programme that are either complete or close to completion. It is, therefore, unlike previous verification exercises not strictly focused on the Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs) that the RAP project reports progress and results against (Km of roads built and employment days generated). Given that the project will close in early/mid 2019, it is now more important to assess the quality of build construction along the length of the road corridors.
