Carol is and experienced communications and marketing specialist, with a demonstrable track record of delivering strategic and practical applications for communications in the international development sector. She is passionate about doing communications that benefit people and planet.
Her career includes more than 20 years experience in the public, private and charity sectors, spanning brand management, strategic communications, marketing, research uptake and policy advocacy.
As Itad’s Communications and Engagement Manager, she is responsible for developing and delivering a shared knowledge and communications strategy to support the achievement of Itad’s goal of contributing to more equitable and sustainable societies through its expert monitoring, evaluation and learning services with partners globally.
Before joining Itad, Carol worked for the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) – a world-leading research and policy thinktank. She has led a wide range of high-impact, data-driven, creative communications strategies and campaigns, from promoting evidence on gender equality to policymakers and the public, to boosting engagement with latest research on health and safe sanitation to multilateral donors, practitioners and researchers.
