Eve Mackinnon has over 10 years’ practical experience in coordination and implementation of WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) responses related to disaster management and public health, and natural resource management across Africa and Asia.
At Itad, Eve’s work spans strategy, including advice and research approaches based on theories of change. Her managerial and technical skills contribute to portfolio and impact evaluations for clients including UNICEF and Dubai Cares.
Eve was the lead evaluator for a series of WASH public health thematic reviews. She acts as the programme manager on independent monitoring and verification services for DFID and lends particular technical expertise to deliver monitoring systems and suitable metrics and indicators.
Prior to joining Itad, Eve was awarded a PhD in container-based sanitation systems and risk management frameworks and led and published literature reviews and practice papers on subjects related to sanitation and public health risks.
