Helena Raijas joined Itad as a Project Officer in 2017. She is part of Itad’s project management unit.
Before joining Itad, Helena worked in a number of roles including project management and business development in Finland and the UK. She has 27 years’ experience in international development, including short-term gender and social inclusion consultancy assignments in rural water and sanitation and environmental projects in Nepal, and a long-term UN Volunteer Liaison Officer post at UNAIDS in Lao PDR.
Helena has a master’s in cultural anthropology from the University of Helsinki.
