Layla’s areas of experience include social policy review and evaluation with experience in advising Governments on complex social issues. Layla is a skilled consultant and project manager who has gained invaluable experience across four different countries, including Australia, Rwanda, Spain, and the United Kingdom. She has a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy, Ethics and Sociology, and a Masters in Public Policy and International Development.
Prior to joining Itad, Layla worked as a data analyst at Freshminds and within the Economics and Public Policy team at Strategy& (PwC Australia). Some accomplishments include:
- Project management for a large-scale state program and policy development that allowed the roll-out of the COVID-19 Positive Care Pathways to Victorian hospitals.
- Successful coordination of the nationwide stakeholder consultation process for Diabetes Australia.
In 2022, as part of her Masters practical work-based project, Layla designed an international development project that included a Project Planning Matrix and Program Logic for the CIDEAL Foundation in Madrid. She is Bilingual in English and Spanish, with basic French.
