Viktoria Beran joined Itad in June 2022 as a Research Analyst through our RA programme, which seeks to help give early-career individuals the tools they need for MEL consultancy in the development sector.
She is currently working within the Human Development practice, with a focus on health system strengthening and health systems investments. In her current role, Viktoria has experience supporting the delivery of a variety of evaluations and working with a diverse range of clients. Prior to joining Itad, Viktoria studied at the University of Sussex, where she completed an MA in Gender, Violence and Conflict. Her thesis focused on the positionality of survivor-researchers in the gender-based violence (GBV) field and how personal experience with GBV is navigated in research and knowledge production.
Viktoria’s research interests cover gender, race, class and how issues of structural violence can be tackled in a development context.
