Climate change is both a significant threat to, and huge opportunity for Ethiopia’s development. The Strategic Climate Institutions Programme (SCIP) Fund is a three year initiative funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) which started in 2012.
The Fund was set up to finance short, sharp strategic interventions which build Ethiopian institutional capacity across government, civil society, academia and development partners.
Our role
We are a partner on the KPMG-led consortium, which is managing the Fund. We provide Monitoring and Evaluation inputs, both in terms of measuring the progress of the portfolio of projects, but also assisting individual grantees to think through their M&E frameworks.
