Itad was contracted by Rwanda Rural Sector Support Project (RSSP), which was implemented by the Rwandan Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI), to update the project’s performance indicators and conduct a primary, field-level impact assessment survey with rural households.
The aim of the project
The aim of the project was to revitalise the rural economy and improve the quality of life of the rural poor through transfer of technical and financial resources for sustainable rural development. With Phase 1 of RSSP coming to a close, the aim of this project, under component 2: ‘Implementation, Coordination and Monitoring & Evaluation’, is to assess RSSP Phase 1 performance, evaluate the projects overall contribution to poverty reduction in Rwanda, and establish a baseline for RSSP Phase 2.
