Itad managed a team to provide the baseline study to an impact evaluation of the Village Level Participatory Approach (VLPA). This included creating the survey and community study methodology and carrying out the baseline survey.
Issues of social capital, the cost-effectiveness of participatory techniques and their impact upon issues of ill-being and well-being were taken into consideration in undertaking this evaluation. This preliminary phase of the evaluation consisted of creating the necessary survey methodology and carrying out the baseline survey in 200 villages in each of the three countries.
