Angela Rae is Partnerships Manager at Itad. Her role is to coordinate Itad’s interactions with partner organisations and drive Itad’s strategy for relationship management.
Angela is responsible for leading major strategic bids, primarily across the UK government, and provides business development support to the growing Fragile and Conflict-Affected States Practice. Angela also has oversight of Itad’s framework contracts and is a member of the Business Development Unit management team.
Before joining Itad, Angela was Director of Business Development in an international consulting firm in Spain focussed on financial and private sector development where she worked with all the major international donors including the World Bank Group, EIB, EBRD, IADB, ADB, AFDB and EC. Prior to this, she was Director of Scientific Affairs at a boutique nutritional consulting firm and worked as a technical translator. She was a SERC research fellow at the Research Laboratory for Archaeology and the History of Art at Oxford University.
Angela has an M.A. and D.Phil from the School of Geography and the Environment, Oxford University. She speaks fluent English and Spanish and has a good working knowledge of French.
