Fergal Turner is a consultant with Itad’s Education theme. Fergal has experience working in education both in the classroom as well as in designing and managing the implementation of education projects in a development setting.
Prior to joining Itad, Fergal worked as Director of Operations for Exponential Education, a community-based organisation in Ghana, focused on the design and delivery of social impact education programs, as well as working with CSOs and government bodies to mainstream gender and social issues in education. Previously he worked as education coordinator for the Refugee Youth Service, developing education support services for unaccompanied minors in refugee camps and services in Northern France.
Fergal has an M.Sc. in Education studies from KU Leuven and focused his studies on evaluating the impact of education policy and how to develop policies to support the reintegration of refugees and youth in post-conflict countries.
