Rachel Neiman is a Project Manager at Itad with over 12 years’ experience in international project management, NGO management and charity operations across the UK, and African and Asian continents. Rachel specialises in supporting complex, multi-country organisations with large-scale operations, with particular expertise in streamlining processes and affecting change globally across numerous projects.
Rachel joined Itad in Summer 2018 as a Senior Project Officer, working on large scale evaluations such as The Fleming Fund, WISH and GPE. This involved demonstrating project leadership, an ability to refine and improve business operations and people development. Overall, Rachel’s responsibilities include oversight of project processes, including detailed financial monitoring and reporting, high-risk country deployment and contractual management and compliance.
Before joining Itad, Rachel worked in various roles at Sightsavers, including Programme Procurement Manager, to manage relationships with suppliers, country offices and partners to ensure projects were equipped with the required medical equipment to fulfil project objectives. Prior to this, Rachel worked in a range of roles with Childreach International where she managed a large number of international building programmes to improve the education facilities for primary school children in Tanzania, India, Nepal and Morocco.
Rachel holds a first class degree in International Development with NGO Management from the University of East London.
